2025 Election Results

A huge thank you to all of you for taking the time to vote in the OQSL 2025 Spring election. We had a record turnout of voters, making this the most successful and secure election in league history.

We would also like to thank the outgoing Executive of Bryan McSorley, Chantelle Northwood and Paul Shepherd for their service and leadership to the league. The amount of effort that they have put into the league to ensure the membership can enjoy another season of softball has not gone unnoticed and is much appreciated.

The Election Committee consisting of previous league commissioners and team captains have reviewed the results and it is our pleasure to share them with you now. Please welcome your 2025 Executive Committee:

Commissioner – Dean Laframboise
Director of Operations – Sean Addis
Events & Promotions – Ian McLeod
Secretary – Corey Pinder
Treasurer – Taylor Griffin

Congratulations!

Drag & Balls

We host this yearly charity softball event to support Bruce House. This great organization provides services and support to people living with HIV-AIDS in Ottawa.

Each Ottawa Pride, generally the last weekend in August, some of our finest volunteers grace the Riverain Park ball diamond in glamorous drag. Moreover, they strut and dazzle in support of the Bruce House charity. This event, complete with a full license, offers a vibrant experience with drag softball, a DJ playing the latest hits, and a variety of food and beverage options.

More information regarding this charity event can be found here.
