The 2019 season marks the 12th year of OQSL softball for LGBTQ+ participants in the National Capital Region. Each year the OQSL offers several events and activities to build our community around the sport we love. In addition to the regular season schedule, we host an OQSL Registration Night party, as well as two Skills and Drills clinics for new players, an end of season Playoffs and Year end banquet, The OQSL Spring Softball on the Rideau Tournament, Drag and Balls, and other pride activities.
The 2019 OQSL Regular Season kicks-off Friday May 24, 2019. Regular season games take place on Friday evenings throughout the summer with exception of the Canada Day, August Civic Holiday and Labour Day long weekends. Some games are also scheduled during one Saturday in July and one Saturday in August. OQSL Play offs are currently scheduled for September 13-14, 2019.

2019 Spring Softball on the Rideau Tournament
With the success of the 2017 and 2018 tournaments it was a no brainer for the OQSL executive to get down to work to host a 2019 edition of the Spring Softball on the Rideau Tournament. Our tournament promises to be a fun, competitive event
Drag AND Balls
Every year the OQSL supports the amazing Drag and Balls event held during the Ottawa Pride weekend. This year Drag and Balls will be hosted at Riverain Park on August 24, 2019.

2019 OQSL Playoffs
The 2019 OQSL Playoffs will be held September 13-14, 2019. Once the OQSL Regular Season games conclude on September 6, 2019, league rankings will determine the OQSL Playoff brackets.
